Martin has consistently obtained awards for clients through jury verdict, arbitration, mediation and settlements. He focuses on personal injury matters including fall down accidents, motor vehicle collisions, and all types of municipal claims arising through the negligence of the City of New York, the New York City Transit Authority, the New York City Housing Authority and all other municipal entities.
Having worked on the defense side of motor vehicle litigation Martin posesses valuable insight into the methods and strategies used by carriers and their counsel, which, in turn, allows him to maximize the results he obtains for his clients.
Martin is admitted to practice law in New York State and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of New York and the Southern District of New York. He participates regularly in the activities of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers and the New York State Bar Association.
Martin earned his law degree in 2004 from New York Law School, graduating Cum Laude. He earned an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Masters in Bilingual Education from St. John’s University. He completed his candidacy for a doctorate in Bilingual Special Education at New York University. Martin is avidly involved in the New York Spanish-speaking community and has counseled many in the areas of special education rights and immigration. Martin is proud of the work he has done pro bono on behalf of victims of domestic violence both with InMotion and privately.
